Senior Development : The Senior development group is designed to develop technical refinement, aerobic and sprint training, Dryland and/or flexibility training. Athletes in this group are expected to train and compete with goals for success at USA Swimming sanctioned competitions.
Senior development is designed to help athletes mature physically and behaviorally in order to prepare them better for future success in the sport. The goal of the group will be to advance all members of the group to an elite level of training and competition.
To progress as a group regular attendance at practice and participation in meets is expected. It is mandatory that all athletes in the Senior development group attend at least 60% of practices with a goal of 100% participation. It will also be mandatory for athletes to participate in an end-of-season/peak performance meet.
